LUDY SM LLASUS, PHD RN, APRN, NP-C
Nurse Practitioner
Associate Professor, School of Nursing
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of nursing experience. She has been in practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2002.
She completed her MSN and PhD at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She cares for patients across the life span providing a patient-centered care approach. She is also a passionate nurse educator and helps prepare the future nursing workforce here in Southern Nevada. She is a fellow for the American Association of Colleges of Nursing's Leadership for Academic Nursing
Programs and has served as the Associate Dean and Interim Dean for the School of Nursing at Nevada State College. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international professional conferences.
MARIA FAYLONA, MD
Head Physician
Dr. Maria Faylona is nationally Board Certified Family Physician. She has been practicing primary care in Las Vegas since 1997. She completed her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Medical Technology at University of Santo Thomas and Doctorate of Medicine at Far Eastern University Philippines. She did her training in Family Medicine at Southern Illinois University. Her passion is in preventative health and overall well being. She incorporates family dynamics as part of her practice. She is married to Dr. Murray Rosenberg who practices Hospital medicine.
NERISSA TORIO, APRN
Nurse Practitioner
A practicing board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner of five years with extensive and progressive experience in healthcare of over 10 years. She began her career as a personal care giver in an assisted living facility and cared for residents who suffered from illnesses ranging from Alzheimer's disease.
While completing her associate degree in Nursing at College of Southern Nevada, she acted as a medical assistant in a local orthopedic clinic. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain College. When she was a registered nurse, she wdrked at a med-telemetry unit, where she was a relief charge nurse before transferring to ICU and cared for the most critically ill and vulnerable patients. She currently practices hospital medicine and is closely affiliated with most hospitals in Las Vegas.
Her passion for healthcare drives her to deepen her knowledge and be a stronger advocate for her patients.
